Growing in Faith

We offer Christian Education to any age! Our Education hour takes place after worship (during the school year) for children as young as 2-through adults. We have a special class for our older youth to gather for fellowship and to talk about faith in their lives today. Adult bible studies and classes are offered at different times throughout the year.

We offer education for First Communion (at any age) and Confirmation (typically in the middle school age level).

Our youth have also had opportunities to attend Crossways Church Camp, the ELCA local national youth gatherings, and Vacation Bible School.

We believe that God welcomes us into God's love at any time in our lives. Traditionally we baptize infants, but adults are welcomed to the Sacrament of Baptism as well.

Young adults away at college are not forgotten here at Gloria Dei.  Gift baskets known as "cookies for college kids" are prepared and sent out to member youth each semester.
